Chocolate. A delicious piece of silken wonder many love to nibble on.
But can chocolate go bad?
That is an interesting question.
Not really. What happens over time if the chocolate is exposed to temperature changes below 54 degrees or above 75 degrees. The cocoa butter fat or sugar can rise to the surface of the chocolate causing it to turn white.
But does that make the chocolate go bad?
It may make it grainy. It may make it look less appealing. But-overall it is still good chocolate, it just not as sexy.
